So this is a new kids show about a crossdressing super hero.

Yup.

That’s a boy up there.

When I saw bit of a comercial for this. I was instantly worried. But… it’s not half bad. There was some initial laughter at the whole situation. But that seemed like it would be over with the first episode. For the most part at least. It also wasn’t the main/sole source of humor. There was a lot of puns. Good lord the puns. While not ever one will injoy them; I personally found them she-larious.

Now, as far is it being problematic… It’s not nearly as bad as you might expect. The main things that suck out were the powers. He’s got a super shriek like Black Canary. A super slap annnnnnd he loses all his powers if his hair gets messed up.

I can’t really tell how much of a parody it is.

Over all, It’s… surprisingly good for something like this. Also, really funny.
